Role Description: • We are seeking a full-time Acoustical Engineer. • You can work this position remote, hybrid, or on-site in the NJ/NY area. • This is a client-facing, hands-on consulting role supporting the full range of our project portfolio, which spans commercial, education, residential, hospitality, film and television, recording facilities, and performing arts venues. • The successful candidate will own projects from initial assessment through final delivery — conducting field measurements, performing data analysis and acoustic modeling, preparing technical reports, presenting findings to clients, and managing project timelines and communications.

  • • Manage project timelines, scopes, and client communications from kickoff through closeout

  • • Provide expert guidance on noise control, room acoustics, sound isolation, and mechanical noise mitigation
  • • Support business development through client relationship management and technical presentations

  • • Demonstrated experience in consulting and project management
  • • Proficiency with noise and vibration measurement equipment and methodologies

  • Preferred but not required
  • • Experience with acoustic modeling and analysis software: MATLAB, COMSOL, EASERA, SMAART, IMSUL, REFLEX, SOUNDFLOW
  • • Familiarity with Autodesk Revit for architectural coordination (1+ year preferred)
  • • Professional certifications such as INCE Board Certification or ASA membership
