Title: Operations Manager
Location: Upper Midwest
Industry: Millwork and Cabinets
Salary: Commensurate with experience + Bonus and benefits

This person’s experience would include a complete knowledge of:

Architects drawings; Construction contract documents; Architectural millwork shop drawings, with specific reference to in-house custom architectural details; Casework & Woodwork manufacturing; Estimating, which includes the extra-to-contract & change order process; Purchasing, Acct’s Payable, Receivable; Woodworking machinery; Wood Finishing & related processes; Laminates & veneers; Architectural metals; Architectural cabinet hardware & related specialty hardware; Purchasing & Lay-up of architectural wood paneling; Lay-outs of walls & related millwork items; Lumber species & grades; Plywood species & grades; Plant safety & dealing with general contractors & architects; Production scheduling which includes the work order process.

-This person must be willing to make periodic trips to jobsites.
-This person would ultimately be responsible for managing the Engineering Department & Manufacturing.
-This person must be able to resolve union issues with plant manager. (Will not be responsible for negotiating collective bargaining agreements.)
-This person will also schedule the deliveries of finishes goods to jobsites.

-Must also coordinate all pick-ups of subcontracted materials & other finished products from their other operations or its various subcontractors.
